COMBINED D.R.I.P. & NASC IRELAND PROJECT

DRIP has  launched first time ever in history of Pakistan CFR FACULTY  & PHECC (Pre Hospital Emergency Care Council) project for 2 year which will lead to Emergency Medical School in Muzaffarabad AJK.
President Mr.President Raja Zulqarnain Khan Inaugurated C.F.R faculty Muzaffarabad AJK on Sunday 3-08-08. and acknowledged the need of these new health training programmes and promised his full support for these projects.

On this Occasion Dr. R.K.Shahzad (General Secretary  D.R.I.P) describe the future plans of D.R.I.P in the region. He also appreciate the effort and support from Ministry of Health AJK, President of AJK, CEO AIMS Dr.Bashir-ur-Rehman Kant and Dr Khawaja Mukhtar( DRIP Representative for AJ& K)

Mr. Macartan Francis Huges (Director NASC Dublin)expressed his gratitude for hospitality shown by people of AJK and honored by Mr. President interest and vision for future . He also thanked Ministry of health AJK and ED AIMS.

D.R.I.P team and CFR Instructor  arrived on 02-08-08 and will be in Muzaffarabad till 09-08-08, Dr. Khuram Shahzad (General Secretary  D.R.I.P) and Dr. Aslam (Executive Member D.R.I.P ) joined by Mr. Macartan Francis Huges (Director NASC Dublin) and Mr. Shane Knox(Instructor NASC).

The Instructors for CFR faculty in Muzaffarabad will be trained from 2nd to 9th August 2008. This faculty is launched for the first time in region simultaneously in Europe.This project will be milestone for the better health services in future.
CFR is a step forward from Basic Life Support(BLS).

The faculty will train nearly 70 candidates in one week  & nearly 13 potential Instructor will also be trained for CFR faculty.
