DRIP thanks Mr Javed Butt and DMC team for successful 3rd & 4th BLS courses

DRIP is very thankful to MR.Javed Butt consultant surgeon and ATLS trainer at Royal college of surgeon in Ireland and DMC team to successfully run the 3rd & 4th BLS course held at Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS) Muzaffarabad on 19th and 22nd February 2007.

The Chief Guest at the closing ceremony of the 4th training was Dr. Bashir Ahmed, Executive Director, Abbas Institute of Medical Sciences. Speaking at this occasion, he said that BLS trainings conducted by DRIP and DMC have created a huge impact on the capacity building of the staff of the institution. He thanked both organizations for facilitating these important trainings and offered his fullest support in future as well. He said that the AIMS should develop a Disaster Management Plan to be able to manage any sorts of emergencies [God forbid] in future. He further said that the drills should be conducted on regular basis so that the staff is ready to handle any crisis natural or otherwise in the future. Management of the DRIP and DMC offered their cooperation in the development and execution of such a plan.
