A) SPONSOR REBUILDING HOUSES OR WATER CHANNELS

There are two main problems of the floods

  1. Shelter for those whose houses were been destroyed by the floods.
  2. Making water channels which were destroyed by the flood. The water issue is so critical that water is not available for animals or for irrigation.
Hundreds of thousand people are affected by water channels. If the water channel priority is given due attention thousands of people will benefit. In making water channels the local people will also participate in shape of free labour.

Survey Report 29th August by our volunteer Mr. Muteeullah
Thank you for sending food items for flood victims. The food was distributed on Sunday 29 August 2010. I with my friend Behroze did the survey on the second day of floods. We surveyed 21villages along the river close to my home town. We made the list of those people whose houses were washed away by the floods. Youngsters of our muhallah were detailed to make a list of 2 hundred families, starting from one side of the village. The food packages were distributed at Durush khela. Beneficiaries were 20 from Kuarry, 5 from Bara Bamakhela, 1 from Bodigram, 5 from Kalakot, 45 from Qandil, 9 from Did Pani, 7 from Rahat Kot, 1 from Koza Durush khela and the remaining from Bara durush Khaela.

Thanks for remembering the country and swat. Flood has affected the whole country but swat is very much affected. We have tried our level best to give the relief to the most deserving. Our people are in need of any kind of help. Food, medicine, agriculture and communication (making tracks) are the urgently required.
